The House

The Strawberry Thief, named after the designer William Morris's most famous print design, is a wisteria-clad end of terrace cottage nestled in beautiful countryside. The property boasts stunning interiors with luxury extras. It also comes with bags of outdoor space and is within walking distance of the village of Corton Denham and a good pub!

 

The bedrooms

There are three luxurious bedrooms, with the master bedroom offering a king size bed, lovely stained wooden floors, pretty seating (perfect for reading) and lots of room. The second bedroom has a double bed with velvet bed frame and is cosier in feel, whilst the third bedroom has a unique antique single bed.

 

The gorgeous and spacious bathroom has both a lovely vintage-style freestanding bath and a monsoon shower. Please note the only toilet in the property is in this bathroom.

You’ll find a SMEG oven, Nespresso machine, bluetooth speakers and a hamper of Prosecco, chocolates, milk, bread, eggs in this room. In addition to the kitchen, there is also a small breakfast room.

The kitchen

 

The sitting area, swathed in honey-rich polished floorboards, has a huge wood burning stove (which is ideal for the winter months), stylish-yet-comfy seating, beautiful lighting and neutral decor. The television has Freeview and there’s also a Crossley record player with a selection of vinyl, so all you need to do is put your feet up and relax.

The living room

 

The terrace is ideal for al-fresco lunches, and the large open space makes an ideal spot for children to play and/or the dog to roam.

We have ample parking for two cars, and there are local bus routes in operation. Sherborne train station is 4 miles away and journey time to London Waterloo is 2 hours 11 minutes.
